An Evening at the Conrad Dublin
Babysitting two lovely little ones
Last night I had the pleasure of spending the evening at the beautiful Conrad Dublin with two adorable children. The family was visiting the city, and while the parents enjoyed a night out, I got to hang out with their little ones—and we had such a lovely time together!
We started off playing and getting to know each other. I always like to bring a few little surprises in my bag to break the ice—some simple toys and storybooks that spark imagination. After a while, we sat down for some coloring time. It’s one of my favorite quiet activities, especially in the evenings. We chatted while filling the pages with bright colors—such a relaxing and creative moment for everyone.
As bedtime approached, we went through their usual evening routine, keeping everything calm and familiar. Stories were read, little goodnight, and soon both were fast asleep.
Once they were settled, I made myself a warm cup of tea (always part of my babysitting ritual when the kids are asleep!) and enjoyed a few peaceful minutes reflecting on the evening. Babysitting in places like the Conrad is always special—there’s a certain charm in caring for children while their families are creating memories in a new city.
Looking forward to the next little adventure! Best , Elisa xx
